Red Sea Gateway Terminal International was established in 2022 by the same founders of RSGT to pursue international investment opportunities.

In 2023, RSGTI and the Chittagong Port Authority in Bangladesh have signed a 22-year concession agreement for the operation of the Patenga Container Terminal, which has an existing 550,000 TEU capacity, on an Equip-Operate-Transfer basis.
