AEC is a 52 MW wind power plant in Al Tafilah, Jordan, including 15 turbines sourced from Vestas, one of the global leaders in wind turbine design and manufacturing.

The company is a joint venture between Xenel and AMEA Power with a 20-year offtake from the National Electric Power Company of Jordan.

The project was financed by the Islamic Development Bank and the International Finance Corporation. Construction started in Sep 2018 and COD was achieved in Jul 2021.
