Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT)

RSGT was founded in 2009 as Saudi Arabia’s first private Build-Operate-Transfer project and was recently partially acquired with the Saudi sovereign Public Investment Fund (PIF). Located at Jeddah Islamic Port, RSGT provides world-class integrated logistics solutions, which serves as an engine of growth for local and regional economies.

Under a 30-year BOT agreement with Saudi Arabian Ports Authority ‘Mawani’, RSGT had taken over the operations of the northern section of Jeddah Islamic Port (previously known as the North Container Terminal), raising its annual throughput capacity to 6.2 million TEU to become the largest container terminal in Saudi Arabia.

Throughout the concession period, RSGT aims to expand its annual throughput capacity to 8.8 million TEU, supported by investment in infrastructure, equipment, and technology. With USD 1 billion already invested, RSGT is committed to investing an additional USD 1.4 billion through 2049 to establish the Red Sea's largest logistics hub.

RSGT continues to function as an independent terminal operator, servicing its customers across the global logistics chain, and focusing on the development, construction, operation, and maintenance of port terminals and on logistics services.
