NECSAL was established in 1980 in Saudi Arabia, as a joint venture between Xenel and NEC Corporation Japan, a pioneer in communications and computer development. The synthesis of these two fields has enabled the company to provide NECSAL with the most advanced technology for its Saudi activities.
The company supplies a comprehensive range of telecommunications and computer equipment, together with a wide selection of electronic systems and associated devices.
The company installed teleconferencing systems between three Saudi cities using Arabsat satellite. NECSAL has also undertaken the expansion of a cable television network for the Royal Commission’s community housing in Yanbu Industrial City. The company has a design, installation, and commissioning contract with ARAMCO for an extensive microwave communications system. NECSAL also designed and implemented an Automated Fingerprint Identification System for the Ministry of Interior National Information Center.
